About

Welcome! My name is Ashley Quintana, nurse practitioner and owner of Q Health & Wellness. I am a native New Mexican, having grown up in northern New Mexico. My family and I have called Albuquerque home for the last 15+ years. Deep down I am just a small town girl, living in the big city.

From a young age, I knew that caring for others was my calling in life, but it was not until I was a bit older that it became clear that caring for people was my true north. My healthcare journey started during high school, during which time I volunteered as a Candy Striper at my local hospital, where I later started my career as a nurse, working in the ICU and ER. Following graduation from high school, I started working as a certified nursing assistant, while attending college, obtaining my Bachelors in Nursing. During my time working as a RN, I had the pleasure of working in varied capacities including primary care for a tribal clinic, intensive care, and the emergency medicine. While I loved working as a RN, I knew that I wanted to be able to do more for my patients, seeing the gaps that existed in care.

The gaps in care, as well as the limitations of traditional healthcare, pushed me to become a Nurse Practitioner. Following graduation, I was blessed to have been provided with a wonderful opportunity that provided me with the support and mentorship to not only grow, but find my passion, while learning the foundations necessary to be the best provider that I could. I have been blessed with many experiences throughout my healthcare career. I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of settings including family medicine, urology, urogynecology, women's health, hospice, and home care, which have provided me with a strong foundation for caring for my patients.

I feel passionate about providing patients with holistic, patient-center care!
